A palanquin carving
|
Some ways that the people of Ancient India traveled were by walking, horse chariots, bullock carts, and palanquins. ( a place where someone could sit and poles for other people to carry them). The products travel by water and by bullock carts to other countries for trade. The people of Ancient India traded with China, Rome and Egypt. They traded mostly wheat, rice, lentils, chickens, figs, sugar, salt, pepper, cinnamon, spices, silk, gold, and pottery. Silk was traded most. Ideas travel by other people traveling to other countries and the ideas spread. They are all traveling to different places either to discover new things or to trade or even to share new ideas to different parts of the world.
