Agriculture: Cattle such as sheep, goats, pig, buffalo, camel, and foul. Crops such as peas ,dates, wheat, rice, mustard, barley, sesamum, and cotton. Lakes such as the Ganges, Indus and the Brahmaputra rivers helped to grow crops and helped for transportation. (Irrigation)
Hunting: The people of Ancient India hunted animals such as many different types of deer, tortoise, rhinoceros, horse, and elephant. Outdoor fun: For outdoor fun, the people of Ancient India played games such as Polo, Kho Kho, Martial Arts, Rugby, Gilli Danda, and Kabaddi. Pollution: Pollution in Ancient India could pollute the air, causing breathing problems, and it could pollute the water causing people not to be able to get good water. |
